Success of first day of women's football with functional diversity

Last Sunday, March 12, as culmination of week linked to Women's Day, first women's football match 11 took place where women with functional diversity participated. It was the first time that a party of these characteristics was made in the Spanish State.

12 clubs participating in  WeLeague7 of the FEDAMAR Foundation contributed their players for this match, a total of 36 women.

Two teams were supported by four players from Mataró women's team and professional first division player from Levante Las Planes and Moroccan national team, Yasmin Mrabet.

In addition to the sports aspect, festive was also the protagonist to celebrate this important day for women's sport and inclusion, which encouraged a very large stand with a group of batuka doing  accompaniment.

In the middle of the game a manifesto was read by some players, and there was also the intervention of Mayor of Mataró and  Councilor for Sports.

This event will continue in the coming years and we are sure that  success of participation will be repeated with the historic day that we are going to live on Sunday.
